Wrestling's not for everyone.
Then again, neither is the word "Warrior."

Argonaut Wrestling: What can it do for you?
As the oldest sport that combines the elements of Team and Individual Achievement, it can be both exhilarating and unforgiving for those who compete. It can both beautiful and brutal. It is a regulated form of mano-a-mano combat that has been used to train warriors from time immemorial.
Wrestling has a noble history and is well represented in ancient literature of many cultures. A monumental wrestling match is described in the very first story ever permanently recorded by human beings—The Epic of Gilgamesh.
The result of that match between the epic’s hero, Gilgamesh, and his opponent, a semi-bestial man named Enkidu, sees the two combatants become the best of friends. Ironically, those who wrestle establish lifelong bonds with each other, because only a wrestler knows what it takes to be called a wrestler.
Rutgers Prep wrestling has enjoyed many successes since its beginning in 1963.
Ten Prep B State Titles, more than twelve Conference titles, Somerset County Champions, Prep State Champions, several National Place-winners and a National Champ, Whether you join wrestling to learn more about the sport, or have aspirations of becoming a National Champion, you will achieve your goal at Rutgers Prep.
Do you have what it takes to be an Argonaut Warrior? Come see. You may find something deep in yourself that you didn’t know you had.
And it will serve you well throughout your life.
The reality is, "there are no losers in the sport of wrestling; there are only those who did not wrestle."
